TRUEFORCE is makes the wheel turn into a buzz box ... it just grinds and vibrates... it mixes it in with the force feedback... which is much more important to feel then torque or ambient sounds ... just a useless feature ... the only place you would want to feel rumble or vibration is in your chair to give you more direct connect feeling... not in the wheel.

I enjoy the game. The handling is the best in the series. There are issues but I am sure they will be resolved with updates. GT hasn't been all that great since GT4. FM4 is the best racing game ever!

The only reason I'm commenting is because you brought up subaru in the physics. As a 2018 sti owner. The sti model as far as im aware has always been a 50/50 biased. Other subaru models that are awd are fwd biased, but the lowest I ever know of is a 60/40 split. As for how the car handles in at least gt7 and forza 7. Nothing like how it handles at least to me. In gt7 the car would have mass Snap oversteer under load in stock setup. That dosn't happen in a awd car. No matter the bias. Forza7 has way more understeer. Then the real one, and also had the issues of oversteer underload.

I've ordered the CSL DD Ready2Race Mclaren Elite Bundle on the 12th May 2024. Immediately after ordering on their WebSite there was a message telling me it can take up to six days until the order would be sent out. Surprisingly, four days later on 16th of May the Wheel, Wheel Base and the Pedals arrived. The Table Clamp and the QR arrived one day later. From my side no issues with the delivery.

It's weird to define the seriousness of the hobby based on equipment, especially when nobody even knows what you are using unless you go around telling people that. A better metric would be how quick you are on track, and if you are quicker with cheaper equipment, all the better for you.

ive used my thrustmaster t150 pro for about 5 years, ive played at least 3 or 4 hours a day since I got it. its fucked up, the faux leather is tearing off at the edges, the rest of it is worn and it squeaks under heavy load but god damn it it is still kicking, id honestly reckon its THE best entry level wheel for noob to semi serious sim racing

I don't care if a newcomer is racing. They paid for the online, and they have a right to race. You probably couldn't tell if a newcomer is using a wheel or controller. If you get wrecked, it isn't the end of the world. It is just a game. You will be okay. Gran Turismo is for everyone.

Thrustmaster T150 has terrible force feedback. On the other hand it is cheap and relatively durable. After 5 years the pedals broke and then i paired it up with t-lcm pedals. Wheel is fine, but force feedback is weak and simple. That is as low as i would go with a racing wheel. What is cheaper is total crap and i agree with you about that.

Spend time in a solo practice session learning the track trying out different braking points and places to turn in. Really experiment with the car trying different things until you get an average pace. Practice as if you're racing. When you're ready, hit a public practice session and get comfortable driving with other cars. Practice letting people pass you safely around the track. Practice safe rejoins. Learn racing etiquette and have respect for the other drivers. Only then should you join your first race.

I started with Microsoft sidewinder ffb wheel back on 1997, then jumped to thustmaster t458 ,Logitech df gt, g27 , t300 and now Moza r12. Although a dd base gives you more details, i never discovered that "huge upgrade"or "the difference is night and day" many say compared to my t300 Same feeling about my p1000, after using my thrustmaster t3pa-pro for almost 11 years i would expect much more from my p1000 UA-camr Jardier has o comparison video also in which he compares a g920 to his fanatec dd, he almost does the same lap times

For the people who complain about the G29... there's a video of Verstappen circa 2015 (the year he started in F1), where his home rig has a G27. Case closed.

I used a G27 and G29 for years. Nothing wrong with them at all. Finding out this tweeter had a 1k iRating while trying to trash other racers was absolutely insane.

I’m the same way as some of the others. I use a 65" Sony OLED Grand Master for my monitor and I absolutely love it. I tried multiple setups and this is easily the best. I agree that the TV not having VRR does suck but capping the frame rate at 60fps helps out a ton. Still shows up now and then but by no means a deal breaker. If you are looking for a TV as a monitor now the Hisense 8H or the new version is a Mini LED with VRR and a 65" is less than $1000 and won’t degrade over time like OLED picture does.
